In a BODYSTEP workout you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs.  Combine this with moves like burpees, push ups and weight plate exercises, and the result is a fun, uplifting, full body workout !

My first BODYSTEP class was 15 years ago watching the Queen of BODYSTEP, our Val.

Immediately I had left all my troubles at the door and was transported into the best feel good class I had ever experienced!.

The music is just the best, you get to bust out your best dance moves, sing a little if you want and have a fab cardio blast without all the monotony and pain, yes a class that you have fun in whilst getting fit!

That"s what the class gave me all those years ago and still does, and hopefully in turn that's what we're doing now for our BODYSTEP family, it has always been and always will be my favorite programme, its not just a class, its a place of belonging

I began BODYSTEP 15 years ago at Cambridge Fitness as a member and quickly fell in love with the whole vibe of BODYSTEP.  I remember telling Mum that "I could do what Val and Raychel do one day !". Those 2 ladies rocking it on stage was the highlight of my week, and I have always been so inspired by them .

When I was asked if I wanted to do a module and train to be a BODYSTEP instructor I jumped at the chance !. I became certified while pregnant with my third baby and received so much support from everyone at CamFit .

I am still in baby mode at the moment so taking a break from teaching but enjoying being back as a participant in the BODYSTEP classes and so looking forward to getting back on stage soon !
